| Monday went tolerably well. Mark mowed the lawn (which made both of us feel good), and I sorted through clothes that need to be put up in the attic. Adia and Mark took a nap, I bought some groceries, and we did some things that needed doing around the house. There was a special game last night, and I surprised Mark with some chips and salsa. I was beat so I went to bed before he did.

| Saturday - I don't remember what happened Saturday. I remember we watched an interview on the Get Smart dvd after making egg benedict - oh yeah! There was a special game on so we watched that, and I made eggs benedict for it, except instead of hollandaise sauce I made a butter herb sauce. I don't like hollandaise sauce that much. It was tasty. Mark and Adia had theirs on english muffins. I didn't wash the supper dishes that day because I was all tired out and just wanted to have a nice start to the weekend with the family. That made more dishes on Sunday, which didn't get washed, and so now there's a nice pile-up. Oh well. I wasn't doing that well on Saturday emotionally. Oh, and Tim Futeron's dad got married that weekend! I hope Tim was best man - that would be such an experience, and good memory. I would've loved to see him be his dad's best man. Part of that comes from his dad being such a cool guy. Sunday was really nice - there was a great speaker visiting from Germany - I think his name is Klausen, or something similar. No, that's the pickle brand. Anyway, he was incredible and if we ever visit Germany, I'd try to be at his church on Sunday. Pot Providence happened and we got to enjoy the Strickenbergs, Wiggins', and Beckmanns during the meal, and a number of people, including the Baileys, afterwards. Laura Bailey has a lot of good things to say. We went home, then back to church for evening service - unfortunately Adia had been fed in such haste that she got carsick and puked on the way. She never mentioned anything though, so we didn't notice anything unusual until we drove up to church. haha. We cleaned her up, she played in the nursery and "was a doll". Then we got treated to another sermon by the German visiting preacher, then went to a nearby park where Mark and some guys played frisbee. Adia and I played with flowers, a golf ball given by Jenna, and the camera until it was time to go. When we got home, we changed Adia's clothes, gave her a bite to eat, and eventually put her to bed. Then we watched a couple very funny episodes of Get Smart, and went to bed ourselves.

| Friday was nice. Mark wasn't feeling well in the morning - he was jittery because of lack of sleep. His brain wouldn't turn off all night so he wasn't ready for work in the morning. When Adia's nap-time came around, she fell asleep on his chest and that calmed him down a lot. I talked to my mom for a bit about birth plans and things. I talked to my dad is having a busy weekend - teaching a lot of classes on evangelism and art. I called up Mom Rico and we talked for about an hour. Good things are happening over there - one of them being that my brother-in-law Michael was baptized on Easter. He was saved on Christmas Day. That's special. I hope Mom Rico videotaped it. I found out that a cousin has staph infection, his mom has a torn rotator cuff, and his brothers also may have staph infection. This is not cool (besides the obvious reasons why) because they've got a boatload of medical bills already. Mark came home a little bit before Adia went to sleep for the night and was able to talk to his mom and sister for a while after playing with our energetic daughter and dog. He did torture them a bit with computer talk while trying to help them figure out a program, but I'm sure they'll survive.

| Yesterday Mark went to James' birthday party. I got a bit lonely after a while, took some pictures, and read "Prince Caspian" by C. S. Lewis. Mark came home in good spirits but both of us had a restless sleep.
